Bulgarian Beer
Bulgarian beer is not just another beer
About Bulgarian Beer
Beer in Bulgaria (бира, пиво) is a relatively new product to a country with centuries old tradition of rakia drinking. It was introduced by foreigners around the 19th century. It didn't take long for Bulgarians to catch up though - today Bulgaria ranks 25th in the world by beer consumption per person (60 liters a year).
Currently there are thirteen breweries in the country, some of them owned by large beer corporations like InBev, Heineken, etc and some of them small local companies.

We are going to skip the preparation steps. Although the process of making beer is more or less the same, every brewer has their own secret recipe for preparing their beer brands. So just skip to the list of Bulgarian beers and enjoy the ride.
